Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of typeflow. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person.
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting it permanently removes any remaining coins, gems and unlocked items, so request a refund for unspent gems first if you want one.
Acceptable use
When using races, friends, and messaging, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to inflate your stats or coin balance
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can also block or report other users through the Friends menu.
Virtual currency
Coins are a virtual in-app currency earned through typing tests, challenges, and races. Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be purchased with real money, exchanged for cash, or transferred between accounts, and may be adjusted or reset if we detect abuse.
Gems & purchases
Gems are a premium currency. Most are bought with real money through Stripe, our payment processor; smaller amounts are also earned through play (streaks, achievements, races, levels and the season pass) and come with typeflow Plus.
If you haven't spent a purchase's gems yet, we'll refund it — wrong package, mistaken purchase, changed your mind, no need to justify it. Once gems from a purchase have been spent on a shop item, that purchase is final and isn't refundable.
The one exception: if a purchase failed to credit gems due to a technical error, was charged more than once, or was made without your authorization, we'll refund it regardless of whether the gems were spent. To request a refund, contact us with your account username and the approximate purchase date.
typeflow Plus
typeflow Plus is an optional monthly subscription, billed through Stripe at the price shown on the Plus page when you subscribe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Cancelling: open the Plus page and choose Manage subscription; you can cancel there at any time. Plus stays on until the end of the month you've already paid for, then stops. You keep everything you unlocked while subscribed.
- Monthly gems are added when each payment goes through, and are yours to keep once credited.
- Refunds: if you ask within 7 days of a payment and haven't spent that month's gems, we'll refund that payment. Payments that failed to deliver Plus, were charged twice, or weren't authorised by you are always refunded. Contact us with your username.
- Changes: if the price or what Plus includes changes, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of messages and content you post, but grant us the right to store and display it as needed to operate the service (e.g. showing your messages to the people you sent them to).
Intellectual property
The typeflow name, design, and code are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the platform without permission.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
typeflow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for any loss of data, coins, or account access arising from your use of the service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of typeflow after changes means you accept the updated terms.
